Structural Design Engineer (Greensboro, NC). DUTIES: Perform conceptual and detailed engineering design for primary and secondary metallic and composite aircraft structures. Develop structural layouts and concepts, develop load paths and stress calculations, and analyze initial or revised design proposals to ensure compliance with approved aerospace design standards. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 2 years of aircraft engineering design experience, to include strong experience in each of the following: conceptual and detail design of aircraft primary and secondary structure; airframe manufacturing methods and technologies; systems integration and supplier management; GD&T application and analysis; Catia V5 design; FAR Part 23 or Part 25; Teamcenter; Matlab; Nastran; FEMAP; Enovia; MS office software.
