Duties: Perform engineering design for aircraft cabin interiors and systems. Design responsibilities include cabinetry, peripheries, and systems such as water/waste/oxygen. Requirements: Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field. 2 years of design experience in an aircraft production environment, including some solid experience in each of the following: design for manufacturing; sheet metal bracket design; design of electrical harness routing, including 2D and 3D installation drawings; familiarity with Part 25 aircraft requirements; reading wiring diagrams; performing trade studies; CATIA v5; PLM. Must have the ability to understand and apply certification requirements relating to harness design and installation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
